Presidents’ Charity 2011 – 2012

The Presidents’ charity this year is Bucks Young Carers.  Young Carers Bucks currently supports in excess of 470 young carers in Buckinghamshire ranging from the age of six to eighteen years.  The Support provided by the Young Carers Team includes one-to-one support as well as small and large group, residential breaks, regular club nights and targeted group work. 

S.I. Aylesbury & District are fundraising this year to provide the young carers with a ‘treat’ of their choice, which could be a trip to popular burger bar or ice skating or something similar. 

Our Main fundraising event for our Charrity is a Golf Day at Weston Turville Golf Club on Thursday September 1st.  If you are a golfer and would like to join us please contact Linda Darnell on ladnet@aol.com for an entry form.

Later in the year we will be holding a Quiz Night on Saturday March 24th with a fish & chip supper.  Family and friends are welcome to come to this event.
