President’s message

Taking office

Croeso – Welcome to the S.I. Bangor and District Web site. This is the Clubs 63rd year.  We meet on a Tuesday evening twice a month. 

This year due to our President Elect re-locating, we were left without an incoming President, the Club has got together to arrive at a solution, and 4 members are going to share the post for the year and support one another. For two of the members this will be a new experience.  I am holding the office for the third 3 months as President of Soroptimist International of Bangor & District  and will be followed by  Jenny Watkin Jones.  Jan Morris Jones held office for the first 3 months – our thanks go to Jan for getting the year off to a good start. Jan was followed by Lis Taylor and our thanks also go to Lis.

We will continue to raise funds for local charities throughout the year, but our main charity will be Air Ambulance.
