January 2012  New Parkinson’s Society service starts-

A splendid start to the new year for our club and the Bromley Parkinson’s society! The club has raised enough money for a new pop in support and advice service to be introduced in the Orpington area of the London Borough of Bromley. People suffering from or affected by Parkinsons can call in to meet other people with similar experiences and to access advice from professional experts.

The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor David McBride, joined the celebrations as President Susan Lee presented a cheque to the Chairman of the Bromley Parkinson’s Society.

Soroptimist Dinah Scudder has produced a 2012 calendar, showing lovely photographs of her, as a fund raiser for the President’s charity.
