A Day of Service
Members sorted clothes for families, with the community worker for the Asylum and Refugee Community project in the town.
Between them, Blackburn members gave the equivalent of a day’s work. Gail Pegg, the community worker, said she was thrilled with their contribution which members actually enjoyed, finding it good fun working as a team. The club has since received another date to help again with the volunteering, so they must be doing something right!
