SIGBI Bournemouth 2019 Conference—Registration is now OPEConference Registration for the Bournemouth 2019 Conference, 24-26 October 2019 is now OPEN.
All the details on how to register and the various methods of payment are on the Conference Website.
This year we are pleased to confirm that delegates can use the online registration form even if they want to pay directly into the SIGBI Trading Bank Account (by BACS).

SIGBI Bournemouth 2019 Conference
A great line up of speakers awaits delegates at the SIGBI Bournemouth 2019 Conference. These include (pictured L-R):
 George Anderson, Athlete and Wellbeing Mentor,
 Baroness Susan Greenfield, scientist, writer, broadcaster
and member of the House of Lords, and
 Penny Mallory, who has lead an amazing life leading her to write “Take Control of your Life”.
Information about the other speakers will be included in the next SIGBI News Briefing. All speakers have been chosen to fit in with President Sue’s theme “Think on it!”.

We are streamlining our channels of communications to our Members from April 2019. There will be four channels of communication, each of which has a different purpose: Soroptimist News, SIGBI News Briefing, SIGBI Website and Social Media. The letter below explains the type of information that will be distributed within each channel:

SIGBI Day of Action—20 July 2019
Get ready for the SIGBI Day of Action. We are asking Clubs to hold an event on Saturday 20 July 2019 to raise funds for the Meru Women’s Garden Project.
In the past three years, SIGBI Clubs have raised nearly £140,000, and with the end of the Project in sight, this is an opportunity to surpass our £150,000 target, which would be a fantastic achievement.
Thank you to all our Clubs and Members for your support of the Meru Women’s Garden Project.
