’63’ is a bijou bed and breakfast hotel in the heart of London
The hotel’s address is 63 Bayswater Road, hence the affectionate abbreviation ’63’. The property was bought by Soroptimist International, Great Britain and Ireland in 1948.
Number 63 is a commercial entity in its own right. Guests – whether or not Soroptimists – are welcome to stay in this hidden gem.
Facilities include 16 rooms all with en suite facilities, a bar and meeting rooms. The hotel is located opposite Kensington Gardens.
Shareholders are Soroptimists, whether individuals, clubs or regions. Soroptimists also form the management team. Supporters can join the 500 Club. A percentage of members’ subscriptions are returned as prize money at the monthly draws. Income is dedicated to the running and maintenance of the hotel.
