Many years ago in a park far away, the ladies of Soroptimist International Dunfermline  worked hard to create an orchard in celebration of the club’s 60th birthday. Over time work has been undertaken to manage the area with the view of providing an ongoing haven for the apple trees and wild life.   Here are a couple of photos from the work undertaken in 2009 and a couple taken recently in preparation for the spring and the next package of work. 2020 will be our 70th birthday and there will be lots of work to make sure our orchard is an environmental haven for people as well as the wild life!  [new_royalslider id=”3″]
