Purple Tear Drop Campaign
The Economic Empowerment +Violence and Conflict Resolution Group had a successful purple stall at the recent Rainbow Fair where they sold many purple items and also offered a gift wrapping service using purple paper and ribbons. Teardrop badges were also sold and a display of posters informed thr public about the campaign. £130 was raised.
A letter has been sent to our MP Tim Farron informing him of the campaign and the plight of women and girls being exploited and used as slaves all over the world and in the U.K.
