Soroptimist International is an organisation for women who wish to work to transform the lives of women and girls worldwide.
Membership of Soroptimist International gives an opportunity of:
- undertaking local, national and international projects to benefit women and girls;
- enjoying service, friendship and fun with women in your location;
- lobbying, influencing and making a difference for women at home and abroad;
- meeting women from different countries and cultures;
- attending international and national conferences and attending meetings of any club in the world.
Membership will give you:
- a range of opportunities to develop leadership and other skills;
- access to “members only” magazines, websites and databases;
- use of our residential club in London, at highly competitive rates;
- the possibility of staying with Soroptimists worldwide
In addition to attending meetings at their own clubs, members have the opportunity to attend regional and national events and study days. All members can attend the annual Federation Conference, which is held at a different location in the Federation each year. There are additional opportunities to attend International Conventions.
