Kenilworth Festival Art Show 2012

Friday 18^th May to Sunday 20^th May 2012

The Kenilworth Festival Art Show is a major event on this year’s Festival Programme and will be organised once more by members of Soroptimist International Kenilworth & District (www.sigbi.org/kenilworth-and-district).

The three day event, to be held at the Holiday Inn, Abbey End, Kenilworth, will provide an opportunity for local artists of any age and ability to showcase and potentially sell their work.  There will also be an exhibition of work from local primary and secondary schools.

We will be running three competitions at the Art Show with cash prizes generously provided by local entrepreneur Richard Simmons from the MAD (Mechanical Art & Design) Museum in Stratford-upon-Avon (www.theMADMuseum.co.uk).

Best in Show Prize – any theme of the artist’s choice – voted for by the public

1^st Prize : £100,  2^nd Prize : £60,  3^rd Prize : £40

Kenilworth Festival Prize – theme chosen by our sponsor – ‘Machinery’

1^st Prize : £100,  2^nd Prize : £60,  3^rd Prize : £40

Schools Competition – theme chosen by our sponsor – ‘Machinery’

Primary:         1^st Prize : £20 voucher,  2^nd Prize : £10 voucher

Secondary:    1^st Prize : £20 voucher,  2^nd Prize : £10 voucher
