In the past year donations were given to the Air Ambulance, and donations of food and supplies for Zimbabwe.
Club members have been knitting blanket squares and the day of service was spent sewing blankets for the Fistula Appeal.

Speaker Meetings

The Speaker meetings are held on the third thursday of the month. Our theme this year is Interesting People, Interesting Lives and the Presidents are focusing on Health and Education for their speakers.

In July the club had it’s Summer Outing to Leasowes Park where we en joyed the walks in the garden and woodland area ,followed the cascades all of which had been designed by the poet William Shenstone in the 18th century and recen tly restored by Dudley Council.

Our speaker for October is Sylvia Jackett.

On Sunday 2nd October 2011 SI Kidderminster & District will be hosting a talk by Dr Mark Baldwin on “Women Behind Enemy Lines” This will be at Baxter United Reformed Church at 7.30pm, tickets are £8 and all money raised will be donated to charity. Dr Baldwin treated us to afacinating talk on the Enima Machine last year and we look forward to another excellent evening.

Wyre Forest Nightstop

The club helps provide toiletries for this organisation and has a member on the Board of Trustees. Nightstop provides emergency overnight accomodation, maximum of 3 nights, for young people 16-25 who are homeless.
