Welcome to a new Presidential Year

My Presidential year started when I received my Chain of Office at our recent AGM and I am very proud to be part of that special group of distinguished women, past Presidents, who represent many of the professions where we females have been successful. One of the challenges facing us now is to attract members from those professions where we need greater representation for example company directors, engineering, banking, dentistry and doctors. Our excellent Network Lunches attract women in a wide variety of professions and our hope is that this will continue to expand and provide these potential new members.

I have, with the help of the Programme group, put together a varied list of speakers for our supper meetings. The Social and Fund Raising committee are also busy putting together a programme of activities that will give us an opportunity for meeting socially, making new friends as well as fund raising for the various charities that we support.
