Well what a picture!! It was our cheque presentation night this week and Lichfield Soroptimists were proud to announce that they have raised over £5,600 during the year. Not all recipients could attend but representatives from St Giles Hospice, Talking Newspapers and our own Benevolent Fund were there to eat with us at Darnford Moor Golf Club and receive their cheques.
Young Carers representative had to cancel through illness and as they have been President Lesley’s chosen charity, it was disappointing not to have them there.
The Big Band Concert on Wednesday 9th March at Nether Stowe School is also in aid of Young Carers.
