Welcome back meeting

Thursday 1 September was our welcome back buffet meeting after the summer break. It also coincided with a member’s 94th birthday. Billie Thirlaway has been a member of SI Newbury for 44 years so it was with great delight that we had a birthday cake and a round of Happy Birthday before we opened our meeting. We then had a short opening discussion and updates of Club and SIGBI business before closing an enjoyable first meeting after summer.
