Women’s Aid Support

The Club supports Newport Womens Aid by providing toiletry bags for the women who find themselves staying at the Refuge.

The bags are handmade by a friend of the Club using material provided by Club Members.

Each bag includes toothpaste, toothbrush, flannel, soap, deodrant, shampoo, shower gel, a comb and a pair of knickers

The Club has provided this service to Newport Womens Aid for the last 5 years. Each year we give approximately 100 bags. The bags and their contents are very much welcomed by the Women who find themselves in the Refuge and, over the years, we have received a number of grateful thanks for this small service that we provide.
