This year’s programme action award when to SI Cockermouth for their Food Bank project, this project involes all members, with the collection of food item, making into food parcels and delivering parcels to those in need.
Highly commended award went to SI Tynemouth Whitley Bay and District for their ‘Painting the Town Pink’ raising awareness of Breast Cancer and to SI Darlington for their project support for the visually impaired, which involves members working as guides for the visually impaired.
