Soroptimists promote friendship and with this in mind the Cumbria Clubs invited applications from members in other countries to pay a visit to Cumbria. Martha from Sweden was selected and accepted our Grant of Friendship. She arrived in May 2011 and toured the county speaking to members in various clubs. Soroptimists shared their vision and learned what was happening in Sweden.
