Grants for Girls

At their May meeting, Poole Soroptimists were delighted to present a cheque for £250 to the winner of the 2012 Grants for Girls.

The grant will help Lorna to pay for her visit to Ghana in July. During her three week visit, she will be helping at a school by teaching and running a sports day as well as giving a hand with whatever work needs doing on-site.

Members wished Lorna the very best of luck for her visit and look forward to her presentation on her return.
