Poole Lions Swimarathon

The Swimarathon is an annual event organised by Poole Lions and supported by Poole Soroptimists and Poole Bay Rotarians. Each team of 6 swims for just under an hour. You can take it as leisurely or seriously as you wish, give your team a fun name and come in ‘fancy dress’ if you want.  

The 2012 Poole Lions Swimarathon took  place on 4th and 5th February.
A team from Poole Soroptimists swam 37 laps and raised over £650 towards the grand total of over £21,000. Poole Soroptimists attended the presentation evening and were delighted that one of the event’s beneficiaries was the Purple Teardrop Campaign.
