Dolphin Boat

SI Poole is represented on the Friends of Dolphin committee by one of its long-standing members. Friends of Dolphin provides Poole Harbour trips on especially adapted vessels to disabled visitors and last year, carried over 2,000 passengers.

Friends of Dolphin have a full programme of fund-raising which includes an annual concert by the Royal Marines Association Concert Band.

At their September meeting, Poole Soroptimists were delighted to welcome Friends of Dolphin representative Bob Irwin who provided an update on the charity’s work and Immediate Past President Liz Rodgers presented a donation from the club.
