Our meeting in September took the form of a Programme Action workshop organised by our PAC rep. We were given four topics for PAC and asked to form into groups for the topic we would most like to get involved with.
- Water and Health Issues
- Trafficking/Purple Teardrop Campaign
- Elderly Abuse
- Friendship Link clubs in developing world.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm and each group appointed their own leader and they were given pointers as to how to research the topic and find ways that they could help and become involved with. Members were asked to report back their findings and the research needed at the next meeting in October.
