Sponsored Walk for Handicap International- 2016

On Sunday July 3rd Dundee Soroptimists  took part in a Sponsored Walk for Handicap International

A group determined SI Dundee members walked together from Riverside Nature Park car park through the Park and into Dundee via the Perth Road, down and across Seabraes Bridge and into Discovery Quay for a well deserved cuppa. After a rest they walked back along the river, past the airport and back to our cars at the Nature Park. An enjoyable circuit of around seven miles; the weather was kind with only a couple of showers. Well done to all who took part but especially to those who completed the loop.

Unfortunately no other Soroptimists Clubs were able to join in but sponsorship from members of Aberdeen, Easter Ross, Inverness and Perth as well as from members of the Dundee club, helped to boost the funds from family and friends.
