President Anne had invited schools and nursery groups within the Cupar and Leuchars areas to enter the Club’s second Christmas Tree decorating competition and exhibit their entries at Elmwood College, where they would be judged by the members of the public who came to enjoy this Christmas Tree Festival on 25th November. There were 17 entries this year and the two prizewinning trees voted for were those produced by the Triangle Playgroup and Kilmaron School (see photos). Their prizes were presented that evening by President Anne at the Corn Exchange, Cupar, at the same time as the Christmas lights were switched on in the town.
