Womens Aid

From early days Stockport Club was involved in helping our local WOMEN’S AID financially and practically. We supply ‘welcome packs’ in the rooms for women who often arrive with nothing. This enables them to make tea or coffee and a drink for the children in the privacy of their own room.
Each new arrival is also given a pretty drawstring bag full of toiletries and necessities ( soap, toothpast etc.) to tide them over.
