On 26th March the club cooked and served a bangers-and-mash lunch to raise funds for the Shakespeare Hospice. While President Cindy wore her club chain of office, member Shelagh wore her mayoral chain as Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon. It was all hands to the deck as cooks Christine, Gillian and Soroptimister David produced lunch for 55 that was followed by Soroptimist fruit crumbles and ice-cream. Soroptimist table servers and washers-up assisted and organised a tombola that raised £170, bringing the total to well over £400.
