March has been a busy month for our club. In addition to supporting the SI Regional public speaking competition, the Water Aid stand in Stratford and holding a Bangers-and-Mash lunch in aid of the Shakespeare Hospice, we also fitted in our annual coffee morning in support of Fair Trade. President Cindy made us welcome in her home and made numerous cups of Fair Trade coffee and tea; we brought/purchased/ate delicious Fair Trade goodies (chocolates remain a sinful favourite) and managed to raise £ 155.00.
We are all now trying to find imaginative ways of decorating a flag each for the longest-in-the-world-banner that Fair Trade is organising.
