Supporting Shakespeare Hospice

Stratford Soroptimists at their start of their Moonlit Walk

Our club has been involved with the Shakespeare Hospice in some way ever since the idea of building a hospice in Stratford was first mooted.  We have provided practical assistance in many of their fund raising activities as well as organising our own events, such as a ‘Bangers and Mash’ lunch and ‘Pimms and Strings’ garden party with all proceeds going to the hospice.

Some energetic members of the club participate in the hospice’s annual sponsored moonlit walk in company with several hundred other women, raising money for the specialist service that the hospice provides.
