Programme Action Awards on Saturday were for projects that have focused on Educate, Enabel or Empower people.
Educate was won by SI Milford Haven for a teaching project in Rwanda.
SI Bridgend won the ‘Enable’ section for a partnership with SI Karachi Central to provide solar panels to run a water filtration plant. ‘Empower’ was highlighted by SI Pontypridd with their project of employing a health visitor in rural Bangladesh.
Most improved website was won by SI Swansea
In some photographs a variety of bags can be seen: Clubs collected a variety of goods for distribution (including our knitted tops, hats and booties for the “Fish and Chip babies”) and to raise funds for our projects.Well done everyone!
