The presentations of trophies to winning teams and cheques to the four charities took place on Thursday 1st May at Cheddon Fitzpaine Memorial Hall. Swimathon Co-ordinator, Christine Briggs, welcomed all winning team members and friends and charity representatives. There was a collective gasp and prolonged applause when she announced the total raised was just over £21,000!
Joint Presidents, Kate Goodwin and Sally Williams presented the trophies to the winning team members and the cheques to the charity representatives.
