Soroptimist International is one of the world’s leading womens’ voluntary organisations with over 80,000 members of around 3,000 local Clubs in more than 100 countries.
SI has consultative status at the United Nations and is a recognised Non-Governmental Organisation representing women from all over the world.
Soroptimists focus on transforming the lives of women and girls, locally, nationally and globally, through education, empowerment and enabling.
The Wrekin club members support, and take part in, various projects which meet SI aims and which collectively can make a real difference . These projects range from fund raising for charity to lobbying on local, national or international issues.
