February 2012

Gareth Hewitt, Head of Substance Misuse, Welsh Government came along to our Programme Action meeting and shared a presentation on how Welsh Government are working on all aspects of Substance Misuse.

Please find attached a copy of the Spider diagram of different services/authorities that work with issues relating to alcohol across the UK.

January 2012

The Steering Groups for the Regional Project met to consider the ways forward. Suggestions will be shared at the Regional meeting in February and include Competitions for FE Colleges and schools using media technology as well as poster competitions.

This is the new regional project and in our February Meeting Linda Pritchard of Platform 51 came to talk to us about the work of this organisation.

Pam Allison and Ann Hodgeson then faciltated a workshop during which we discussed ways in which clubs could become involved in this project.
