- Appointment runs from start of Federation year at the end of October.
- (At present) You are expected to be working in a business/profession or something similar or be within 2 years of retiring from same BUT as with other roles in Soroptimism, it is expected that this requirement will shortly be removed.

- Federation regards it as desirable that Reps attend the yearly Federation Conference
2. Future Leaders of Soroptimism
Federation regards Regional Reps as a vital stepping stone for leadership. No-one can stand as Regional VP, PE or President without having first served as a Regional Rep for 2 years, ditto for the position of Federation Councillor, and you can’t stand for most of the positions on the Federation Management Board without having first been a Federation Councillor.
3. Regional Buddy Scheme
Please look out for your designated Regional Buddies at Regional Meetings and help them to get to know the dynamics of your club. The more they know, the more they should be able to support you and also pass your good practices on to other clubs.
4. Club Development Plans
A report on the workshop will be circulated shortly.
