In June we were delighted to welcome Ana Ulp from SI Tartu as part of her Grant of Friendship visit as a guest of SI Southern England. We had a first-hand account from Anu about life in Estonia before and after its independence from Russia. We enjoyed her company and the opportunity to hear about her working life, her family and the work of her SI club.
By happy coincidence Anu was not the only Soroptimist visiting Winchester that week. Members from SI North West England joined us for a guided tour of the city and afternoon tea. Our visitors from the north made it a very entertaining occasion.
