Thanks to Laraine Marriott, members enjoyed a guided tour of Arundells, the house of former Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath, before it is closed to the public and possibly sold. A few members were also afforded the rare chance of a visit the Salisbury Women’s Refuge.
An interesting and enjoyable day was rounded off by a cream tea provided by Loraine in her delightful garden.
