The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) 66 – https://www.unwomen.org/en/csw/csw66-2022 – begins on 14 March. Again, this year it is a virtual event, but Soroptimist International (SI) and Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) will have the opportunity to influence UN Policy and contribute to the Agreed Conclusions.
- Priority theme: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes;
- Review theme: Women’s economic empowerment in the changing world of work (agreed conclusions of the sixty-first session);
