{"id":1145,"date":"2019-05-08T18:07:31","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T17:07:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/bangor-and-district\/?p=1145"},"modified":"2021-05-10T17:52:52","modified_gmt":"2021-05-10T16:52:52","slug":"2019-2020-president-eirwen-jones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/bangor-and-district\/2019\/05\/08\/2019-2020-president-eirwen-jones\/","title":{"rendered":"2019\/20 President Eirwen Jones"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>President Eirwen Jones SI Bangor &amp; District 2019\/2020<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is an honour and privilege to be President of SI Bangor &amp; District for 2019\/2020.<\/p>\n<p>I was born in Powys but moved to Anglesey in 1965.<\/p>\n<p>I have been in the catering industry all my working life, but retired from being Catering Manager for the National Trust 4 years ago, and I am now busier than ever on the farm and looking after two grand daughters.\u00a0 I have a son who is a farmer and a daughter who is a pharmacist.<\/p>\n<p>My two main Charities for the coming year are, Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU )Ysbyty Gwynedd, who require funding for new incubators and the Lung Cancer Unit, Ysbyty Gwynedd. This second charity is close to my heart, as this year is the 10th anniversary of the death of my husband from lung cancer.
