SI Barry and District
Our club was chartered in 1968 with 18 members. The first Club President was Mrs Hilda Thomas. Today, there are 55 members in the club mainly from Barry, Dinas Powys, Sully, Penarth and but we welcome members from any area close enough for them to travel to our meetings. Being a Soroptimist presents you with many opportunities to enjoy a wide variety of events as well as working hard to ensure that women and girls around the world achieve their true potential.
We hold meetings on the third Wednesday of every month (except August), when we have dinner, often a speaker and a business meeting. We currently meet at The Seashore Grill & Cafe Bar in Sully.
