The \u00a32million machine was bought by a local business man and is being used to treat patients who have either prostate or bowel cancer. The machine has not been taken over by the NHS although it is used to treat NHS patients. The current funding is by donations and fund raising. Each robotic arm can be used only15 times and then needs replacing at a cost of \u00a3950.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/beverley-and-district\/files\/2017\/03\/Choc-tombola.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-503\" src=\"\/beverley-and-district\/files\/2017\/03\/Choc-tombola-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Choc tombola\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/beverley-and-district\/files\/2017\/03\/Choc-tombola-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/beverley-and-district\/files\/2017\/03\/Choc-tombola-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/beverley-and-district\/files\/2017\/03\/Choc-tombola.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A chocolate tombola was held in Beverley market on March 24<sup>th<\/sup> which raised \u00a3165. Pictured setting up the stall are: Gill Fawcett, Sue Bates, Anne Lane &amp; Liz Lyle<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On March 17<sup>th<\/sup> a most successful fashion show was held at Tickton Village Hall featuring outfits from The Beverley Dresser, Basler at Browns, The Crew Company and Collections.
