As the club year comes to an end, we say huge thank yous to all members who have contributed to the\u00a0 Club’s success.<\/p>\n

Special thanks go to President Jenny who stepped into the breach when needed.\u00a0 Jenny has led a varied and fun year with considerable contributions going to local and international causes.\u00a0 \u00a0Thank you Jenny.<\/p>\n

Thanks were also given to Liz Hallett who has managed our Fund Raising events with such efficiency and good humour.\u00a0 Thank you Liz.<\/p>\n

We have to say farewell to our long standing Soroptimist member, Barbara Evamy.\u00a0 Barbara has been a Soroptimist for 38 years and has served\u00a0 in her Club as President, Secretary, Treasurer and Programme Action Officer, as well as becoming President of the Yorkshire region.\u00a0 She has served on the 63 Committee and attended Conferences and events around the world.\u00a0 Barbara has decided it is time for her to retire but we shall keep in touch and call on her wide experience when we need\u00a0 help.\u00a0 Thank you Barbara.<\/p>\n

The evening concluded with supper and socialising as always at Soroptimist events!<\/p>\n

Our meetings in the new year will be held at the Beverley Golf Club each 2nd and 4th Wednesday.\u00a0 \u00a0 Contact us through the SI website and you would be welcome to join us at one of our Club meetings.<\/p>\n
