Our group offers friendship and fun whilst giving service locally, nationally and Internationally; to Educate, Empower and Enable Women and Girls to make the most of their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding August) at: <\/span>North Shore Golf Club, Devonshire Road, Blackpool FY2 0RD<\/span><\/p>\n

SI Blackpool & District are delighted to announce that Pamela Swain, a Soroptimist for 16 years has been awarded an MBE in the 2025 New Year’s Honours List, for her work as CEO of the British Association of Dental Nurses, a job she has been doing for over 30 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

During her illustrious career Pam has worked all over the world and for some very highly recognisable organisations such as NATO.<\/span><\/p>\n

The club are extremely proud to have Pam as a member, and offer our congratulations on this prestigious honour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of SI Blackpool & District Signing Choir<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In 2018 members of SI Blackpool & District formed a “Signing Choir” and performed “Love Changes Everything” at the Tower Ballroom. Their efforts won them the North West England & Isle of Man Regional Rosebowl.<\/span><\/p>\n
