Soroptimist International Bournemouth members presented an olive tree to the hotel in celebration of the SI Centenary.\u00a0 Hotel General Manager, Theo Lakimov, accepted the tree on behalf of the Miramar.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Cllr. David Kelsey, Mayor of Bournemouth, who did the honour of cutting the ribbon to display the tree and unveiling the memorial plaque which are positioned at the hotel entrance.<\/p>\n

The hotel is a favourite venue with SI Bournemouth members where many memories of special events have been held in the past, the most recent being in 2018 when the club celebrated its 80th<\/sup> Anniversary and receiving the Queen\u2019s Award for Voluntary Service.<\/p>\n
