Bridgend Soroptimists marked St David’s Day with a very enjoyable Welsh lunch. Joined by family and friends from neighbouring clubs, they were entertained by Eiry Palfrey with her tales of Lady Llanover, a dedicated upholder of women’s rights…..would she have been a Soroptimist, I wonder!
