The Club celebrates its Diamond Anniversary in April 2017, and this event is a “60 for 60” production . . . .where we will complete 60 projects in our 60th year – the projects will be large, small, fun and more serious….

Annual Charity Bridge Drive in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society 10:00am until 4:00pm with a prompt start of play at 10:30am. Coffee and biscuits will be served as from 10:00am. Cost £12 per player – including lunch.
Our charity for the year is WISH, an organisation which offers mental health support, both in prison and in the community, to women experiencing mental health issues. A contribution from each ticket will benefit this charity alongside a raffle at the Gala dinner.

This is our annual charter lunch; ‘Time to Talk’ an opportunity to meet in a more social environment and catch up with friends from our own and other clubs. Tickets only £24 for 3 course meal with tea/coffee.

Inspirational women sharing stories exploring why and how an idea becomes an action which inspires others and changes lives.
Programme: 9.30 Coffee, Reception and Networking
Morning session will include: Speakers exploring Women in education, Women in Politics and Women in the Community. A panel discussion will be followed by entertainment and lunch. Take the opportunity to explore the unique shops and displays in the Rheged Centre.
Afternoon session will include a focus on Women in Science, Women and Young People and Women of the future.

South West and Channel Islands Regional Friendship weekend
Including the AGM on 17 th of June 2017, with evening celebration dinner. Friday 16 th a fun evening with a meal and a special visit on the Sunday including lunch.
