May – October 2018
To commemorate the centenary of the ending of World War 1 in 2018, we are proposing to involve 100s of people in a 8KM walk around the city of Chester. The walk will take in WW1 sites and walkers will be asked to answer quiz questions as they walk. We will be inviting people to come solo, with their families and their dogs, or with a team of friends or colleagues – a grand day out for everyone. As well as reminding us of the sacrifices made by Cheshire people who did not return.
