Soroptimist International is a women\u2019s organisation formed in 1921 and in 2025 there has been a Soroptimist Club in Cannock for 70 years.\u00a0 During those years all Soroptimists have striven to enhance the lives of women and girls across the world.<\/p>\n
The club wishes to honour all Cannock & District Soroptimists: hence the plaque marking our 70th<\/sup> year, celebrating all members: \u2018Women Helping Women\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\nWe have collaborative status with the United Nations because of the work we do to educate, empower and enable women and girls, locally, nationally and globally.<\/p>\n
Vision<\/strong><\/p>\nWomen and girls will achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide.<\/p>\n
