[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As her Presidency draws to an end, Jackie Prince held her final wellbeing event which was a coffee morning! As well as an opportunity to meet up, it was also a chance to say thank you to everyone at Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles [IHL] charity who had facilitated the monthly wellbeing events throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Many club members and their families were there, along with Lisa Shephard and Gez Hill from IHL \u2013 all thoroughly enjoying the chat, the fun, the coffee \u2013 and, of course, the wonderful cakes made by club members!<\/p>\n

There was a Bring and Buy Sale, with proceeds being donated to the charity; this will enable them to provide well-being sessions for other groups in the future.<\/p>\n

Club members also took along to the coffee morning items for Ukrainian children traumatised by the war: they are supporting their Mother Club, SI Bilston, to provide 200 shoeboxes filled with fun items and one or two essential toiletries which will be given to Ukrainian child refugees. This particular collection continues until 14th<\/sup> April with collection points at the Pavilion Cafe, Hednesford Park; Cannock Library and Penkridge Library. All donations are very, very welcome!<\/p>\n

Soroptimists are also supporting the local food bank who are at an all time low in terms of stock of tinned food; members, friends and neighbours are being very generous with this, too.<\/p>\n

President Jackie thanked everyone for making this a fabulous morning full of well-being!<\/p>\n
