It often goes undiagnosed for years so it is essential that girls are given information about symptoms which should never be seen as &#8216;normal&#8217;. Should they then suffer from these symptoms they will be able to pursue a diagnosis and so get treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Signs and symptoms which could indicate Endometriosis are:<i> <\/i>Pain before and during periods; Pain with sex; Infertility; Fatigue; Painful urination during periods; Painful bowel movements during periods; Other Gastrointestinal upsets such as diarrhoea, constipation, nausea; Problems with the immune system such as asthma or allergies; and anyone suffering from these should see their Doctor.<\/p>\n<p>The event proved a great success and Soroptimists have been invited back to the College to make the information available to all students.<\/p>\n<p>All Soroptimist Clubs in the UK are raising awareness of this condition in line with the Resolution passed at the SIGBI 2013 Federation Conference: <strong><i>Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland moves that\u00a0<\/i><\/strong><strong><i>Soroptimists alert young women and girls, health providers and the general public to the symptoms of endometriosis and the importance of early diagnosis<\/i><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/cannock-with-kate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-642\" src=\"\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/cannock-with-kate-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"cannock with kate\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/cannock-with-kate-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/cannock-with-kate-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/cannock-with-kate.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/students-with-kate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-643\" src=\"\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/students-with-kate-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"students with kate\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/students-with-kate-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/students-with-kate-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sigbi.org\/cannock-and-district\/files\/2014\/09\/students-with-kate.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>Photos attached: \u00a01.
