At the first meeting of her year in office, President of Soroptimist International Cannock & District, Carole Holdcroft, had the pleasure of inducting new member Cheryl Turner.<\/p>\n

Cheryl is a local business woman, Director of her own company which manages social media for businesses as well as offering training for businesses on how to use social media as part of their marketing strategy.\u00a0 She is very involved with WiRE [Women in Rural Enterprise] and is passionate about helping people and businesses to succeed.<\/p>\n

After being formally presented to the club by member Kate Young and receiving her Soroptimist International badge from President Carole, Cheryl said \u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to getting more involved with the projects, on a local, national and international scale, that Cannock Soroptimists are supporting, as well as getting to know a fabulous group of like-minded women\u201d.<\/p>\n

Cheryl is already involving herself in several projects the club is involved with, all with the aim of enabling, educating and empowering women.<\/p>\n

There is also an opportunity for women to speak to members of the Club at their \u201cFeel Good, Look Good\u201d event being held in the evening on May 27th<\/sup> this year when everyone will be made very welcome.\u00a0 There is no charge to attend the event.<\/p>\n
