Fundraising in style

Soroptimist International Barbados and Hyundai presented its second successful annual charity golf tournament on February 24, 2017 at the beautiful Apes Hill greens to raise funds for our outreach programmes. Sixty eight golfers gathered together at the newly renovated Apes Hill Club to Take a Swing for Charity.

The tournament was a 4 Four Ball Better Ball Stapbleford. Golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf, a boxed lunch, after golf cocktails as well as an After Party and Grand Tapas with live entertainment by Alan Sheppard Piano Man. To boost the fund raising efforts they received generous donations such as staycations, jewelry, paintings and dinners which were utilized as prizes and in their silent auction.
