CHRISTMAS CARDS

Yes, I know, but it is only round the corner!

If anyone would like to send their Christmas wishes to Club members via this newsletter, and make a donation to their favourite charity, let me know (ljc1049@gmail.com) and I shall add them to the list in Central Matters which comes out at the end of November.

CRISIS CENTRE

A reminder about the collection for the Crisis Centre Christmas boxes. Packing will take place on Friday 9 December at Jenny Saxby’s. Please bring items to the November/December business meetings. If you are not coming to the business meetings, you can contact Jenny to arrange to drop them over to her.

We don’t include candles, sharp items such as scissors, metal nail files, or anything that might be hazardous.

Wanted are Hotter/Clarks (or similar) ladies standard size shoe boxes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gels, deodorants, hand cream, combs, small hair brushes, tissues, sponge/facecloth/nylon scrunchies, etc. Any other items – surplus presents, scarves, blingy jewellery, hotel/cruise freebies – which you think that the ladies would like will be very welcome. If you do not have anything suitable, a small donation would enable us to buy suitable items.
